Roger is fascinated with the way others create objects and resolve unique ​​design problems. He started with sculptural welding a number of years ago, and moved into metal casting whlile at the U of Minnesota foundry. Roger holds a BFA ('93) from UW Stout and an MS in design from UMN ('14). Somewhat of a curmudgeon, he likes to play with fire as a cathartic activity.

Marie earned her MFA from the University of Minnesota in 2014. She has been casting metal since undergrad at St. Catherine's University. She enjoys running the show during iron pour performances and bossing the guys around!
